Positive beginnings for young children begin at Dawn’s Early Light and never end. Our center provides a caring and nurturing environment for children birth to 10 years of age. Our staff uses the Maryland State Department of Education approved curriculum "The Creative Curriculum" which includes developmental objectives for children ages birth to 5 years.

The curriculum provides a guide for lesson planning and benchmark assessments for you to track your child’s development throughout the year. Our staff communicates regularly with parents to ensure the highest level of education and care is provided for each child.

DEL also offers a before and after school program as well as Summer Adventures for children in elementary school ages 5 to 10 years. Our summer program includes a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and trips. A sense of community and lasting friendships last a lifetime.
